After the successful redesign of the AYSO 163 Web presence, XBX was contracted to take over support of the previous defunct vendor's archaic registration system while a new system based on XBX's Sports Club Management modules for the XBX Content Management System could be built. One of the challenges is to try to replicate the data structure so that legacy data can be included in the system but at the same time eliminate the awkward user interaction with the data. XBX and AYSO 163 plan to roll out the new system for Spring registration.

Originally built for the Trevian Soccer Club and FC United Soccer Club, XBX has successfully deployed their Sports Club Management modules at several soccer teams including NS Premier of Deerfield, IL (http://www.nspremier.com).

The system handles everything from registration for tryouts through assigning selected players to rosters to the scheduling of games. Coupled with the XBX Report Manager module, Excel reports can be created for any view of the database to generate contact and email merge lists, coaches team roster information, and even output the data in the structure required by some leagues to upload into their system. The system was designed so that volunteer board members could easily handle the functionality once trained.

The system has been sucessfully integrated with both third party ecommerce software residing on our server as well as with PayPal® for clubs that wish to handle the complete process through payment.
